Laura G King - President & CEO

Ms. King possesses extensive executive level operating experience having led multiple GE business units both in the US and globally. Prior to joining NeuWave Medical, Ms. King was a GE Company officer while leading the $1.2 B global Interventional Cardiology and Surgery business. Prior to this, she ran GE Mammography, where she made the bold decision to invest in the first digital mammography system, revolutionizing mammography and enabling improved breast cancer detection. She has core expertise in strategy, finance, operations as well as in a new product introduction. Raised in San Francisco, CA, she is a graduate of UC Davis in Economics

Rick Schefelker - Vice President, Engineering

Mr. Schefelker has a track record of developing and introducing over fifteen medical products to market with both GE Healthcare and Marquette Electronics.  He has experience in FDA 510(k) medical development processes as well as in leading large engineering teams.  Prior to joining NeuWave Medical, Mr. Schefelker was the Engineering Leader for Invasive Cardiology at GE Healthcare.  A graduate of UW Madison, Mr. Schefelker has experience in software development and an understanding of both clinical cardiology and oncology.

Eric Clyse - Vice President, Operations

 
Mr. Clyse has over fifteen years of experience in supply chain management and the manufacturing of medical products.  Most recently, he led Operations and Supply Chain for GE Ultrasound, and successfully introduced the Logiq E9 to market. Mr. Clyse was responsible for the startup of ultrasound manufacturing at the new GE Healthcare Research Park in Wauwatosa, WI. Since joining NeuWave, Mr. Clyse has led the establishment of the new 15,000 square foot facility and secured a strong, quality-focused supply base.

Dan Kosednar - Director, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance

Mr. Kosednar joined NeuWave from Datex-Ohmeda where he was responsible for regulatory strategy. During his tenure with Datex-Ohmeda, he successfully obtained sixteen 510(k) clearances.  Mr. Kosednar has experience in designing and implementing compliant compliant systems, and at NeuWave, he is responsible for ensuring that high quality processes are ingrained in all aspects of medical device development and manufacturing. Mr. Kosednar has held key quality and regulatory positions at both Datex-Ohmeda and Third Wave Technologies, and is also Regulatory Affairs certified.

Paul Laeseke, MD, PhD - Director, Clinical Affairs

Dr. Laeseke is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Medical Scientist Training Program (combined MD/PhD degree program).  He performed his doctoral work on multiple-applicator tumor ablation devices and techniques, has lectured nationally and internationally, and has authored numerous manuscripts, book chapters, patents, and abstracts on the subject.  Dr. Laeseke has extensive pre-clinical and clinical research experience, and will be starting his radiology residency at Stanford University after completing a surgical internship at Maine Medical Center in Portland, ME.
